Version 4.2 of Adiscon EventReporter has been released today. The new version has some important fixes and enhancements:
- Support for double byte character sets (like Japanese) added. EventReporter is now fully able to forward messages encoded with double byte characters. Please note that the receiving syslog daemon must also understand DBCS in order to work (Adiscon’s WinSyslog does do so).
- Fixed a compatibilty issue with Windows 2000 Professional that caused events to be reported to the wrong facility.
- The process now runs as a low priority process demanding even less system ressources.

Version 4.2 is a free upgrade to all registered users. Download your copy today!
