A new version of EventReporter is now available. Update 26.08 introduces a Message Ringbuffer action that enables stored event messages to be queried via the metrics endpoint, accompanied by a new local metrics dashboard featuring live message viewing. Core enhancements also bring dynamic system-supported connection backlogs for TCP listeners and direct foreground configuration options for flexible runtime loading.
Engine reliability and Event Log processing receive significant stability fixes in this release. Concurrent Event Monitor instances benefit from resolved lookup-cache data races and safer bookmark handling during shutdown. Additional updates deliver modernized queue handle lifecycle management, unblocked TCP listener shutdowns, hardened disk-cache and database recovery replay paths, and unique diagnostic Event IDs for clearer operator troubleshooting.
Both management interfaces feature notable functionality updates, including the addition of the HTTP Request action for Professional and higher editions. The New User Interface adds user-managed Event Log channel pins and an upgraded Configuration Workbench, while the Legacy Client introduces simplified file-based licensing and improved LastRecord data reloading across channel switches.
