EventReporter Event ID 11043: A sender connection was refused by the permitted-senders limit#

Answer#

The product refused the sender identified in the event because the permitted-senders configuration has no available entry, does not include that sender, or no longer matches the intended sender inventory.

Event details#

  • Event ID: 11043

  • Severity: Error

  • Component: Client connection licensing

  • Windows Event Log source: Adiscon EvntSLog

  • Available since: 26.07

  • Message pattern: Connection refused. Additional detail: {event_detail}

Possible causes#

  • Permitted Senders is enabled and the configured number of sender entries is already in use.

  • The connecting sender is not one of the currently permitted senders.

  • The permitted-senders configuration no longer matches the intended sender inventory.

Immediate checks#

  1. Record the configured permitted-senders limit and whether the rejected sender should be allowed; do not publish the sender address.

  2. Review the current permitted-senders entries and remove only entries that are confirmed obsolete.

  3. If the intended sender count exceeds the configured or licensed allowance, update the authorized configuration or license before retrying.
